  12. By the power of air, be thou purified.  Be thou dedicated to
  13. purity of thought, and to harmlessness that all intentions for
  14. which thou art used may harm no living thing and be for the good
  15. of all.

  17. [Pass tool three times through or over the flame of the candle to
  18. the South - Fire]
  19.  
  20. By the power of fire, be thou purified.  Be thou dedicated to
  21. purity of desire, and to harmlessness that all goals which thou
  22. doest help achieve may harm no living thing and be for the good of
  23. all.

  25. [Take a few drops of holy water from the West and sprinkle or dab
  26. on instrument - Water]

  29. purity of emotion, and to harmlessness that  thou shalt be used in
  30. a spirit of harmony, harming  no living thing  and for the good of
  31. all.
